Great sausages and good flavor combinations. The inside vibes are great. Staff was nice and fun. Great chalk artworks. The mystery tap was fun too. An easy recommend!
Simply a terrific bar, and already a cherished Highlandtown institution! Always a good beer selection, and the food is consistently good-- just remember it's the "wurst bar in Baltimore" for a reason, sausages being the primary offering, but there's also vegetarian/vegan options. Some exceptional staff that are always a pleasure to see, especially when it's not super busy and they have time to chat.
Snake Hill is peak perfect neighborhood bar. Great chow, drinks, and the staff is always super friendly. Always a good crowd here too, with an interesting mix of visitors and locals. Could spend hours here sipping and getting into interesting discussions against a backdrop of soothing, amicable chatter. Happy 10th anniversary! Looking forward to visiting more over the years to come.

Hidden gem! I’d been meaning to try this place for a while but never got around to it. The bartender was super attentive and friendly and walked me through all the vegetarian options, including what could be substituted and what to stay away from. Ended up ordering one of the plant-based sausages, truffle fries, and peanut butter cup. Sausage was great! It did have a slightly weird aftertaste but I think that’s just because it was plant-based Truffle fries were a little starchy and thick, which made them taste a little too earthy but still enjoyable’ Peanut butter cup was wonderful! Atmosphere was intimate and friendly. Will visit again :)
Excellent spot for a beer and a sausage. This place has the coolest menu: lots of exotic meats (rattlesnake, rabbit, alligator) and they are delicious. Highly recommend this spot for lunch or an easy, no-frills late night spot. Good prices - very clean.
Eric provided excellent customer service and truly went above and beyond. He made sure my order was taken care of and even stepped outside to ask my Lyft driver to wait while my food was still being prepared. I really appreciated that extra level of care. The food was delicious and prepared quickly, which made the experience even better. I would absolutely recommend this place and will definitely be coming back.

The space feels warm and welcoming with its classic corner bar setup, outdoor sidewalk seating, and plenty of local character. The standout here is definitely the sausage menu — you’ll find nearly 20 varieties, from familiar favorites like Italian and Polish sausages to more exotic options (think alligator, rabbit rattlesnake, duck & bacon), as well as vegan sausage choices. Served in sandwiches or baskets with tasty sides like mac & cheese, hush puppies, and onion rings, they’re flavorful, juicy, and worth trying even if you’re a bit adventurous. The beer list is great too — a rotating selection of drafts plus lots of bottles and cans — and the cocktails and whiskey offerings round out the experience if you’re there for drinks rather than food. Snake Hill is without a doubt one of the best pubs/bars/restaurants in Baltimore and has a very well-earned reputation. The sausages are tasty, the beer selection is top-notch, and the vibes are immaculate. Also very reasonably priced. I have to fight every urge to gatekeep this place, but I simply can’t. 10/10.
